For years, I was interested in laser eye surgery, but remained skeptical. The latest advancements and statistics convinced me that LASIK surgery is safe and reliable. I believe my eyes will actually be healthier without contact lenses. The procedure is accepted by the FAA, and even approved for some flying positions in the Air Force. The fact that Dr. Walker, my surgeon, has had the surgery was a big confidence builder.

Restore Vision Centers is a very professionally run organization. The staff and physicians are friendly, helpful, and above all, conservative in their practice. I had mild myopia and astigmatism. I was told not to expect miracles, but my vision is better now than with contact lenses or glasses. My only regret is that I did not have corrective surgery sooner.

Many factors attributed to my decision to have LASIK – chief among them was to make my professional life a bit less complicated. Wearing contacts and flying was easy for years, but once I had to wear reading glasses as well, I had to stock up on not only an extra pair of contacts, but also glasses. Trips overseas were even more difficult as many countries require two back-up glasses and a current prescription in your possession at all times. Add with the need for sun glasses, as well as sun glasses with distance and near vision correction, it seemed much easier to get my astigmatism corrected by surgery. I still have to use reading glasses after surgery, but my life is much less complicated than in my previous situation.

I chose RVC after consulting with three facilities. I believe that RVC has the most up-to-date equipment and is run by doctors with very good resumes. I have colleagues who have used RVC and they were also happy with the treatment and results. The people at RVC were superb to work with. I am thrilled with the outcome and it has improved the quality of my life.

I wore glasses for over 20 years until I had the LASIK procedure at Restore Vision Centers. Now my eyesight is perfect, which has allowed me to see more and fly safer – especially at night.

After receiving a recommendation from the Flight Department at Galvin Flying Service, I immediately called Restore and scheduled an examination. After finding out I was qualified for the procedure, I had the surgery and have been ecstatic ever since. I love my new eyes and there's no more fooling around with glasses or contacts! I will continue to refer all my relatives, friends and co-workers to Restore Vision Centers.

During my qualifying exam for the Air Force, the doctor said that I had some of the best results from laser eye surgery he had ever seen. And this is a doctor who qualifies pilots for the Air Force and NASA.

I used to fly cargo throughout the Midwest, usually at night. While researching LASIK companies, I heard about Restore Vision Centers from a flying buddy. I moved cautiously forward since eyesight to a pilot is so important. I found Restore Vision Centers had the best of everything. The experience was exceptional.

I am now seeing 20/20 out of both eyes, have had no side effects, and I didn't have to spend a fortune! Not having to wear glasses or relying on contacts makes it all worth it.

I don't think I've ever been happier. LASIK was the best thing I've ever done for myself. Whether I'm working in the air or on the ground, I can now see it all with no more hassles!

As a pilot and full-time aviation student whose goal is to fly with a major commercial airline, my vision is so important to me. Now, my eyesight is 20/15 and I'm more confident flying at night than when I wore glasses. I compared LASIK eye surgery centers and found RVC was honest about pricing and offered the best customer service. I love my new eyes!

I chose Restore Vision Centers for my laser eye surgery not only because of their excellent reputation, but also because they were straight forward and honest with me about pricing. There were no “bait-and-switch” sales techniques and no pressure. The whole experience was very satisfying. And I love my new eyes!
